Main responsibilities
Leadership and governance
Work closely with the CCMW Board of Directors and Friends of CCMW to define and implement the strategic vision.
Ensure effective governance of the two organizations, including preparation of board meetings, implementation of policies, preparation of reports, support for board committees and follow-up on decisions.
Act as the official spokesperson for the CCFM and represent the organization to community, government and media partners.
Strategic and operational management
Oversee MFCC operations, including planning and evaluation of programs and services.
Manage and maintain the CCFM's infrastructure.
Implement internal processes that promote efficiency and innovation.
Oversee relations with resident groups and community partners.
Ensure administrative policies are applied.
Financial management and fundraising
Oversee the budgetary and financial management of both organizations, in collaboration with CCFM's Finance and Administration Department.
Develop and ensure the financial viability of the CCFM by seeking diversified sources of funding (grants, sponsorships, fundraising, commercial partnerships, etc.).
Ensure accountability and financial transparency to boards of directors and funders.
Human resources management and organizational culture
Supervise and mentor the management team and all staff.
Foster a collaborative, inclusive and equitable work environment, in line with CCMW values.
Manage and/or implement recruitment, integration, training and staff appraisal processes.
Ensure compliance with human resources policies and labor standards.
Partnership development and community outreach
Maintain and develop strategic partnerships with governments, cultural and community organizations, businesses and other stakeholders.
Collaborate with local and regional stakeholders to strengthen the CCFM's impact within Manitoba's francophone community and the province as a whole.
Participate in strategic discussions on the development of the neighborhood and the cultural sector.
Profile sought - Job requirements
Training and experience
University degree in administration, cultural management, business management or other relevant field.
Minimum of five (5) years' experience in a management position, ideally in a cultural or community organization.
Demonstrated experience in team management, financial management and partnership development.
Knowledge of the French-speaking community and cultural milieu - a major asset.
Key skills required
Strategic vision and mobilizing leadership.
Excellent financial management and budget planning skills.
Ability to manage complex projects and meet tight deadlines.
Spoken and written French-English bilingualism (essential).
Interpersonal skills and ability to represent the organization effectively.

Working conditions
Full-time position (flexible schedule depending on the organization's activities).
Competitive salary based on experience and current CCFM salary grid.
Position based in St. Boniface, Winnipeg.
Available for events on evenings and weekends.

Role and mission
Our client, the Centre culturel franco-manitobain, is looking for a General Manager.
Reporting to the Board of Directors, this position is essential to ensure the leadership and strategic management of the MFCC. The Executive Director will be responsible for general administration, finance, human resources, partnerships, business development, as well as community and government relations, while overseeing the programs and services offered.
It oversees the implementation of the organization's vision and strategic plan, while ensuring effective management of operations and sound governance. By extension, CCFM's Executive Management is also responsible for the Board of Directors of Les Amis du CCFM, and oversees the management of this organization.
